EATON XT Series IEC Mini Contactors

Eaton XT-Series mini contactors are compact relay units that switch on / off an electric circuit. These full voltage non-reversing units are useful in compact machines, conveyors and PCB boards where saving space is a major concern.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between AC and DC contactors?

DC contactor has a maximum operating frequency of 1200 times per hour, while AC contactors have a maximum operating frequency of 600 times per hour.

What is the full voltage non-reversing method?

When the controller's single contactor actuates, FVNR allows the full line voltage to be applied to the motor. With an FVNR motor controller, the position of the line phases is fixed and the motor can only be operated in one rotational direction.

What is the difference between a relay and a contactor?

Relays control contacts of an electrical circuit due to a change of parameters or conditions in the same circuit or any other associated circuit. Contactors, on the other hand, are used to interrupt or establish connections in an electrical circuit repeatedly under different conditions.
