Shaft Collars

Ruland Manufacturing SC Series shaft collars are suitable for spacing, guiding, stopping and component alignment in applications where collars are infrequently removed or repositioned. They are clamped around a shaft for holding sprockets, bearings, motor components and gear assemblies in place. These collars come coated with bright / black oxide finish for glossy appearance, and are capable of withstanding temperatures ranging from -40 to 350 degrees F. Choose from a wide range of these collars, available in steel, aluminium and acetal plastic variants.

Ruland Manufacturing two-piece, double-wide shaft collars come in a clamp design that is easy to remove & indefinitely adjustable, and will not mar the shaft in the process. They are used as short rigid couplings for applications where a traditional rigid coupling is too long. These RoHS 3 & REACH compliant units feature 303 stainless steel / 1215 lead-free steel construction for increased holding power. They are equipped with forged screws that test beyond DIN 912 12.9 standards to offer maximum holding power. All units are stamped with bore sizes for easy identification. These units are available in bore diameters ranging from 6 to 25 mm.

These shaft collars are manufactured from high grade 2024 aluminium / 303 stainless steel / 1215 lead-free steel for increased screw seating torque. They have a precisely controlled face to bore perpendicularity, with tight tolerances on bearing locknuts to offer positive alignment when a shaft collar is used as a load-bearing face / mechanical stop, or for mounting components.
