Compressed air filters are designed to remove and trap dirt particles, moisture and other impurities for improving the flow of compressed air in applications requiring high flow rates. These ARO pump filters feature a 5 micron rating and have polycarbonate media for clean air supply. They are available in compact, heavy duty, miniature & standard sizes.

  • Filter Regulator Lubricators (FRL)

FRLs are single unit assemblies comprising a filter, regulator and lubricator for regulating air pressure, filtering out contaminants and lubricating compressed air to reduce friction in compressed air systems. These ARO pump FRLs feature bowls made of metal / metal with sight glass / polycarbonate for ensuring excellent thermal insulation and resistance against UV radiations. These ARO pump FRLs have a maximum flow rate of 215 cfm and are offered in heights of 6.2, 8.21, 9.91, 11 and 13.6 inches.

  • Filter/Regulators

Designed to supply and regulate clean supply of compressed air. Available in filter ratings of 0.3 and 5 microns with a maximum flow rate of 250 PSI. Feature a see-through metal or polycarbonate bowl for keeping a check on proper functioning of filter and lubricator

  • General Purpose Filter Elements

Air filter elements are used to remove oil, oil vapour, particulate and water contamination from the compressed air supply and to provide clean & compressed air with minimal loss in pressure. These ARO pump filter elements feature 0.3 or 5 micron rating and HEPA paper filter media for precise filtration and are available in standard & coalescing variants.

  • Oil Removal Filters

Oil removal filters are designed to remove oil particles & vapours present in compressed air for providing clean air supply. These ARO pump filters feature 0.3 micron rating for efficient absorption and a metal / polycarbonate see through bowl for keeping a check on filter performance.

  • Pneumatic Lubricators

Modular airline lubricators used to deliver lubricating compressed air supply to reduce friction & wear, and ensure smooth running of compressed air systems. Available in a max flow rate of 330 CFM and NPT port sizes of 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 & 1 inch

  • Pneumatic Modular FRL Accessories

Includes auto drains, modular / clamp spacers, mounting brackets and T-type wall mounts for filter, regulator & lubricator units. Steel clamps available for 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000 Series FRLs for wall or surface mounting; provide excellent wall-to-unit clearance

About ARO

ARO's catalogue includes pumps, motors, valves, air regulators, pneumatic lubricators, solenoid coil connectors and compressed air filters. The brand's double diaphragm pumps are positive displacement pumps that run on compressed air to move highly viscous solvents & slurries in wet commercial pumping applications. These ARO pumps feature aluminium / cast iron / stainless steel / polypropylene / acetal / kynar body construction to ensure low friction and corrosion resistance on exposed surfaces. These ARO pumps have a maximum flow rate of 237 gpm, are offered in flanged / NPT connections and can be operated at temperatures up to 200 degrees F. ARO 3 way, 2 position solenoid air control valves are used in hydraulic systems and fluid power pneumatic services for controlling fluid power motors and cylinders valves. These ARO pump valves are prelubed and are capable of being operated without air line lubrication. They come equipped with a junction box having gaskets and moulded connectors to protect electrical connections (lead wire / DIN connectors). These ARO pump valves have a maximum volume coefficient of 4.32, feature a ported body to reduce the force applied to the valve and can withstand a maximum pressure of 150 psi. These ARO solenoid air control valves deliver flow rates up to 150 cfm and can be operated at temperatures ranging from -10 to 180 degrees F.

Things To Consider

Cross-Reference Alternatives

Some ARO items cross individual references to the equivalent Speedaire, Parker or Milton Industries model numbers. So, if you're looking for a competitor motor that is either out of stock or obsolete, chances are Raptor Supplies has the equivalent ARO product available.

Shipping

These ARO pumps range from small to large sizes. They may require careful packaging as some items may get damaged while shipping. Hence, these ARO pumps are delivered by courier shipment and air freight for minimum downtime.

ARO Competitive Advantages

AFX Technology Based Pumps

AFX technology based ARO pumps feature Progressive Exhaust parabolic valve geometry ensuring high flow capacity. They have cascading expansion chambers for eliminating changes in pump performance caused by icing or changing environmental conditions. The lubrication free operation of these pumps helps in reducing lubricating costs and the 6 inch stroke improves the pump's performance with improved pulse profile, high displacement per stroke and reliability due to negligible switchovers per cycle. They are equipped with a fibre wound, composite & conductive cylinder with epoxy coating for wear resistance. They have actuation control ports to provide access for pneumatic logic signal controls.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does an ARO pump work?

ARO pumps have two pumping chambers that are alternately filled and discharged by the flexible diaphragm movement. Compressed air is also alternately blown to and discharged from air chambers on the opposite sides of the pump's diaphragms for creating the pumping action.

Is ARO associated with Ingersoll Rand?

ARO is a subsidiary brand of Ingersoll Rand, which has been a pioneer in air compressor systems, power tools and hand tools for more than 100 years.

Does a diaphragm pump need to be primed?

Diaphragm pumps are self priming and are suitable for viscous slurries & solvents.

Do diaphragm pumps need lubrication?

Air operated diaphragm pumps are rugged and lube free pumps. They provide high quality, hassle free & continuous output, even under the harshest conditions.

What is a double diaphragm pump?

A double diaphragm is a positive displacement pump that utilises two flexible diaphragms reciprocating back & forth, making a temporary chamber, which both draws in and discharges fluid through the pump. The diaphragm acts as a separation wall between the liquid and air.
