Features

  • They come with a totally enclosed fan-cooled enclosure which circulates airflow on the motor windings through an external fan (attached to the motor) to prevent overheating during continuous operation.
  • These motors have steel frames to offer structural rigidity and their three-phase design allows motors to run at a maximum speed of 1800 rpm.
  • They feature rigid / foot mounting to allow a secure attachment with the equipment and dampen excessive noise & vibrations.

Standards and Approvals

  • CSA
  • UL

Frequently Asked Questions

How to maintain a motor?

To maintain a motor, use well-lubricated bearings to keep the motor running smoothly and efficiently.

What is the difference between a rotor and a stator?

Rotor is the rotating unit of a motor, while a stator is the stationary portion of the magnetic circuit and associated windings.

What is a constant torque?

In constant torque applications, as the speed changes, the load torque remains constant and the horsepower changes linearly. This can be seen mostly in blowers, fans, conveyors, crushers and constant displacement pumps.
