Working Mechanism

  • The non-reversing starter controls the direction of rotation by controlling the direction of the current flow through the motor's windings.
  • When the starter is in the forward position, current flows through the motor in one direction, causing it to rotate in the clockwise direction.
  • When the starter is in the reverse position, the current in the motor flows in the opposite direction, causing the device to rotate in the counterclockwise direction.
