Submersible Sump Pumps

Dayton submersible sump pumps are used to pump slurry and excess water from flooded basements or work sites. These pumps feature housing made of cast iron / polypropylene / stainless steel / aluminium for low friction, high flexural strength and corrosion resistance. They are equipped with SiC / Buna-N / CRB / CMC seals for watertight, oiltight and dustproof sealing. These sump pumps deliver speeds up to 3600 rpm, have a maximum load capacity of 300 lb, and are available in 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 & 3/4 hp variants.

Working Mechanism

  • Submersible pumps push water to the surface by converting rotary energy to kinetic energy and finally to pressure energy.
  • The rotation of the impeller pushes the water through the diffuser, and from there, it goes to the surface.
