Features

  • Industrial safety pins are practical, quick, reusable and self-securing. A positive lock is produced when tension is applied to a wire, whether it is coiled or uncoiled. Industrial safety pins can be utilised in situations where a more secure but easy-to-remove pin is advantageous, such as retaining clevis pins in anchor shackle systems.
  • Snap pins, often referred to as snapper pins or wire lock pins, have a head-mounted pivoting spring wire that makes them different from hitch pins in terms of design. The spring wire extends over the part as the pin is placed, snapping around the pin's end to hold it in place.
  • Tapered pins are produced from bar stock to a variety of tolerances. This manufacturing process takes longer than heading and grinding, which are used to make dowel pins. The use of tapered pins is decreasing since they are slower than rolling steel pins (also known as rolled pins).
  • Locking pins are ideal for locking and securing two coupling pieces and keeping them from detaching from the fastening system. Self-locking quick-release pins are the most popular locking pins. They have a spring-loaded ball at the safety pin's base that secures the pin and keeps it from being removed. The spring tightens and relieves tension over the balls only when the release mechanism (such as a push button) is activated, allowing users to freely withdraw the self-locking pin from the hole.
  • Safety pins from Fabory feature a spring mechanism & clasp to hold two items together. They have steel / carbon steel / 18-8 stainless steel construction with a plain / zinc coating to enhance surface brightness and resist abrasives.
  • These safety pins are available in coil tension and double wire snap variants.
