Rod ends have a shaft or hole to connect easily with other components.
The shaft / hole are arranged in a manner such that their axes are perpendicular to each other at the centre of rotation for the spherical joint.
They offer rigid movement without any bending for precise & predictable control.
Rod ends generally have a hole through the spherical joint's centre and a protrusion coming out of the spherical joint's casing.
This protrusion may be a threaded shaft (male) or a tapped hole (female) for fitting specific application requirements.
They can be cut to the desired length and attached with hex nuts for added security.
