Features

Control Devices Safety Valves

  • They have brass / brass / stainless steel construction for structural rigidity and durability.
  • They offer lead / silicon rubber seal for enhanced and leak free operations.
  • These safety valves come with a stainless steel / zinc plated music wire spring to resist corrosion on exposed surfaces.
  • These valves come in bubble tight / high capacity / screwed outlet variants as per the user's requirement.

Kingston Pop Safety Valves

  • They have brass construction for reduced friction and prolonged service life.
  • These pop safety valves have an operational temperature range of 250 to 300 degrees F.
  • They can be operated at pressures ranging from 1 to 400 PSI.
  • These pneumatic safety valves come with a soft seal for leak proof operations.

Condrader Safety Valves

  • They have seat, cap, and piston components made of ASTM B16 brass / ASTM A582 stainless steel for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance.
  • These industrial safety valves feature a 302 stainless steel spring for enhanced performance and to withstand moisture.
  • They have a 440 stainless steel sealing ball to ensure effective sealing.
  • These safety valves come with a shrouded adjustment cap for added protection and safety.
  • They offer nickel-plating for enhanced corrosion resistance and an aesthetic, polished appearance.

Working Mechanism

  • When pressure in the pneumatic system exceeds the safe limit, it acts on the valve.
  • The valve's internal mechanism responds to the excess pressure.
  • The valve opens, allowing excess air to escape from the system.
  • As air is released, the system's pressure decreases to a safe level.
  • The valve automatically closes when the pressure stabilises, ensuring system safety.

Frequently Asked Questions

What factors should I consider while choosing a pneumatic safety valve?

  • Ensure it matches your system's pressure requirements.
  • Check if it can handle your required flow volume.
  • Confirm it suits your media and environment.
  • Verify it meets safety standards.
  • Choose a proven, reliable valve.
  • Ensure it fits your system.
  • Consider ease of maintenance and overall cost.
  • Opt for a reputable manufacturer.

How do I clean and maintain pneumatic safety valves?

  • Ensure the pneumatic system is depressurised and the valve is isolated.
  • Examine the valve for wear, corrosion, or damage.
  • Remove dirt or debris using compressed air or a soft brush.
  • Apply appropriate lubricant to moving parts as recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Conduct regular functionality tests to ensure the valve operates correctly.
  • If necessary, replace worn seals, gaskets, or damaged components.
  • Adhere to maintenance instructions provided by the manufacturer for specific valve models.
