Dayton shrinkers / stretchers are metal forming tools used for shrinking or stretching sheet metals to form usable objects without heating, welding or cutting. They feature high-quality jaws that compress / pull-apart the metal and change its thickness and steel / cast steel / cast iron construction for reliability & high tensile strength. The capacity of mild steel in these shrinker-stretcher tools is 16 / 18 gauges. Some models come integrated with stands.
