BURNDY Machine Bolts

Designed to secure two or more objects together. Made of silicon bronze and consist of a threaded shank or shaft with a head at one end. Socket & nut assemblies and washers also available.

Features

• A machine bolt is mainly divided into 2 parts: the head and the threaded portion.
• The head is available in multiple drive styles for driving the screw in / out from the surface and sticking out of the surface.
• The threaded portion starts just below the head for mating with a nut after installation.
• This nut & bolt assembly creates compression force that holds two loose objects together and can be disassembled easily when required.
• Selected bolt heads are equipped with a square neck for preventing accidental spinning / opening due to vibration.
• Most machine bolts are fully threaded (but some are partially threaded) for preventing loosening, rotation, breakage & bending caused by friction-induced overheating or sideway forces.
• These bolts can be fitted with a washer for increasing the surface area and distributing the attachment force applied.
• Fabory machine bolts are available in hex head, square head, step & elevator bolt variants.
• Texas Pneumatic Tools machine bolts have hexagonal / square heads for easy installation. Selected models may also have a long stem for fastening parts in industrial machinery.
