Lug Compression Connectors

Burndy compression lugs feature high-conductivity copper construction that resists overheating. They are UL listed and CSA certified to provide reliable and controllable electrical connections. These lugs are integrated with a Break-Away feature that allows field modification of the terminal from a two-hole to a one-hole design to suit various bus bar applications. They come with an electro tin-plated finish to provide long-lasting corrosion resistance.

These UL listed & CSA certified lugs have two holes to provide flexibility to conform to various busbar applications. Burndy aluminium tin-plated compression terminals are designed for both aluminium & copper conductors. The aluminium construction with electro-tin plating provides maximum conductivity, low resistance and ductility. These terminals feature an internally bevelled barrel design to ensure easy cable insertion. They come with colour-coded end caps inserted in the barrel end to identify the colour-coded die for a reliable connection. The units feature factory prefilled PENETROX to penetrate the wires’ oxides, establish electrical continuity and form an airtight connection.

Burndy compression lugs establish an electrical connection by terminating electrical conductors or connecting wires. These lugs have non-insulated brazed barrel copper terminals to provide high-conductive connections and electro-tin plating for corrosion resistance. They feature ring tongue heads that permit the user to create 90-degree connection without bending the conductor. They feature copper construction for high conductivity and electro-tin plating to prevent overheating & corrosion. They are CSA-certified and UL-listed for safe operation and have a peep hole to ensure secure electrical connections. The straight or angle barrel connects into electrical circuits.
