Features

  • Generally, a drop-in anchor is used on concrete surfaces.
  • The holding power of a drop-in anchor mainly depends on the strength & pressure handling capacity of the concrete surface and the anchor depth.
  • These anchors have smooth sides for extra surface area in contact with the concrete, resulting in constant holding values.
  • They can also handle vibrations or sudden impacts when successive anchors are spaced appropriately.
  • Most of these models have a knurled body for increasing friction and providing a connection between the anchor & concrete hole's wall.
  • Many of these anchors come in a pack containing multiple pieces for easy operation.
  • Power Fasteners drop-in anchors and MKT Fastening drop-in anchors have a slotted body for expanding uniformly against the anchor hole's walls when struck with the setting tool.
