Dowel pins are cylindrical metal rods without a head that have been precisely cut.
They provide strength & stability when inserted through stones & concentric holes to hold components in position.
These units are available in pin diameters ranging from 1 to 25 mm.
Most models meet ASME / DIN / ISO / military / FM specifications.
They are used with socket screws for handling tensile load and absorbing shear loads.
Richard Manno dowel pins feature smaller diameters than the corresponding holes. They have chamfers at each end for enabling easy insertion & accurate alignment. They also offer double shear strengths to handle load capacities ranging from 610 to 16000 lb.
