These washers resist screw heads from splitting wood.
These recessed washers let screws sit flush with the work surface, allowing users to easily varnish, sand and provide a smooth & finished look while installing or repairing wood trim.
They dip inward radially and are elevated on the sides, but the centre is relatively flat & non-elevated.
Countersunk washers can be used by inserting a threaded fastener through the centre.
They are compatible with flat-head fasteners and can distribute the load of a bolt or threaded nut.
These countersunk washers provide better protection from vibrations than flat washers.
