Hose clamps come in diverse shapes, styles & sizes. However, the majority of them follow the same process for proper fitting on a hose and tube / pipe fitting. Once the hose is pressed securely onto the mating part, the hose clamp is positioned toward the end of the hose, with approximately 1/4 inch space between the clamp and the end of the hose.
Put the hose's edge around the fitting. Tighten the clamp with the tool to hold the hose in place.
Avoid over-tightening a hose clamp as it can damage the hose or restrict fluid flow. Additionally, it's essential to choose the appropriate type and size of the clamp for the specific hose and application to ensure a secure and reliable connection.
