Auxiliary contacts are designed for use with primary switching equipment such as relays, contactors and circuit breakers, acting as retainers or interlocks and for indicating operational status of the devices. These relay auxiliary contacts are electrically isolated from the main circuit and the protection part of the breaker. Square D definite purpose auxiliary contacts are ideal for air compressors, pumps and HVACR & food service equipment. These contacts come equipped with binder head screws and quick-connect terminals ensuring smooth straight-through wiring. They provide side mounting and are compatible with all Series C starters. Dayton IEC auxiliary contacts are designed for use with Dayton IEC contactors, overload relays and motor starters. These aux contacts offer front mounting and allow additional signals, alarms and indicator lights.
